Frequently Asked Questions

What does health insurance cover?

Most health insurance plans cover doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, lab tests, preventive care, and emergency services. Coverage details vary by plan.

What is the difference between Marketplace and Group Insurance?

Marketplace plans are for individuals and families, while group insurance is offered by employers to their employees. Both provide essential health benefits.

When can I sign up for health insurance?

The Open Enrollment Period is from November 1 to January 15 each year. You may also qualify for Special Enrollment if you lose coverage, move, or have a major life change. Call today to see if you qualify.

What are subsidies, and how do they help?

Subsidies are government discounts that lower your monthly premium or out-of-pocket costs, based on your income and family size. Most clients qualify for some level of help.

What if I already have coverage through my job or another program?

If you have health coverage through your employer, Medicaid, or Medicare, you may not need a Marketplace plan. However, we can still review your situation to ensure you’re getting the best benefits and aren’t overpaying for coverage.

Can I get help choosing the right plan?

Absolutely! At Bold Insurance, our licensed agents review your options, explain benefits, and help you find the plan that best fits your needs and budget.
